Keyline K75 review: a mechanical keyboard for grown-ups

Quiet switches, a solid aluminium case and excellent wireless make this our new favourite desk upgrade.

Mechanical keyboards have a reputation for being loud, flashy and aimed at gamers. The Keyline K75 is none of those things, and it’s all the better for it.

Built to last

The 75 percent layout keeps the function row and arrow keys while saving desk space. The machined aluminium case weighs more than a kilogram, so the K75 never slides around, and the pre-lubed linear switches are smooth and satisfyingly muted.

Everyday use

Switching between a laptop, a desktop and a tablet takes a single key combination, and the wireless connection never dropped during two weeks of testing. Battery life, with the subtle backlight off, stretched past a month.
